VVS in the year 2006 looking towards intellectual, educational & social development of the mentally retarded girl students started special school named as Smt. Lilatai Deshmukh residential special school for education, training & rehabilitation for mentally retarded girls to make them self dependant, self reliant through special education.
Currently school is having 65 MR girls taking the advantage of special education. MS Govt in the year 2006 had sanctioned 65 seats for the residential school.
VSS is committed to its objective of rehabilitating the MR girls through vocational training which will help them to become independent. Keeping this in view the VSS is working harder to achieve its goal.
Celebration of various festivals and birthdays are the integral part of the activities in the school which help the student to spread awareness and make them more social. Visit by the prominent and learned people from in and out of the city are planned accordingly to benefit the students.

Our mission is to provide significant growth for the welfare and rehabilitation of intellectually challenged youngsters to transform them into better citizens and productive members of our Society. Safeguarding this welfare is the mutual responsibility of a progressive and democratic society in which these Special Girls have a right to be an integral part.
